Theta’s highly qualified professionals are skilled in hydrogeologic and geotechnical investigations, site assessment, exposure assessment and remediation of various forms of subsurface contamination.

Theta personnel have a wide range of expertise and experience in the assessment and remediation of subsurface contamination problems. Theta’s geologist have also conducted geotechnical investigations to assist with the planning and budgeting of construction and development projects.

Theta has been active in all levels of regulatory compliance associated with the TDEC State Remediation Program, UST closure, release investigation, exposure assessments and remediation. The integration of contaminant fate and transport expertise with the site characterization and system operation activities has lead to dramatic increases in the effectiveness of many existing remediation systems. Theta has also successfully implemented a variety of insitu chemical oxidation and enhanced bioremediation technologies.

Theta’s remediation services have evolved to specialize in evaluation of existing site data to develop more realistic cleanup goals and technical strategies that can meet these goals.

Theta’s geotechnical services have included penetration tests, soil classification by ASTM D 2488 – 09a and other methods, overburden thickness and contouring of the water table.
